Forecast New Hire Expenses

In this article, we share 4 simple steps for quickly building an expense forecast for your new hires using system variables

Step 1: Navigate to the Expense section

Step 2: Add expense or edit an existing expense

Step 3: Select Expense Type = Custom Formula

Step 4: Type in the function bar the following:

Headcount.New*the amount of the budget per new hire or for this expense for new hires.

Example: Headcount.New*1000

In the example above, you are forecasting a $1000 cost for every new hire in your hiring plans. In Finmark, we will automatically adjust the forecast as you change your hiring plans to account for the added budget.
