Hiring Drivers have been updated to provide 2 options: New or Total. These options define whether the formula entered should always add that many new employees per month, or if the formula entered is the total number of employees desired for that role, factoring in existing employees in that month.
A table has been added to the expanded view to show the charted data for the Total Revenue chart.

Create Dashboard charts quickly without leaving the dashboard page, new stacked area chart is available, additional accounting integration updates, and more beautiful design enhancements!
The ability to create charts from the Dashboard! You can now click on the green add chart icon at the top right of the Dashboard to create a chart with one or multiple variables.
A new Variables panel is available in the Chart Builder to allow you to search for and multi-select variables to add or remove from a chart.
A new Stacked Area chart is now available for custom charts. Scenario comparison is not currently available for this chart type.

Accounting Integrations: A new menu item has been added for Linked Expenses in the Expenses grid to View Matched Items, making it easier to see what all is being associated with a linked expense.
Accounting Integrations: More detail is now available for some expense transactions from external accounting platforms. We are now pulling and using “Direct Costs” to add Vendor and Tracking Category details to relevant transactions.

Dashboard Customization Updates!
A new ability to hide charts on your dashboard! When going into edit mode in the dashboard, you will see an icon right next to “Save” and “Cancel” that opens up a configuration panel where you can choose which charts (custom and system) you would like to see on your dashboard. A common use-case for this could be to remove all MRR related charts for businesses that do not have subscriptions.
Updates to scenario comparison on custom charts are now in place that allow users to compare without the requirement of the same chart existing in the other scenario.

New Option For Adding Expense Account Numbers, Added Chart Types, and more!
Expense Class has been renamed to Category to better align with the vernacular used in accounting.
You can now add an Account Number to expenses created in Finmark.
Account numbers are now shown in Actuals for expenses, making it easier to find, analyze, and edit specific expenses
Pie charts are now available in the edit flow of a custom chart and in the creation of charts from the dashboard. The ability to create a chart from the dashboard will be made generally available soon but is currently feature-flagged.
Job titles are now sorted in the titles dropdown in the employee's grid.

Custom charts have a new Edit flow that moves toward our new design. It also allows you to create multi-variable custom charts as either line or stacked columns.
You can now compare scenarios in custom charts without that specific chart being available in both scenarios, simplifying the dashboard experience.
A new Linking Criteria column is now available in the Expenses Summary screen where you can see what they have set up in their linked expense.
Custom reports through the Google Sheets integration can now be shown in currency, percentage, or regular numbers based on the unit in the Google Sheets version of the report.

You now have the ability to add comments, annotations, and tasks within scenarios in Finmark. ability to mention other people with access to the scenario being viewed to send an email notification with a screenshot of the product. Set Ongoing Date for Accounting Sync, Column Customization in Expenses, and more Formula Entry options!
A new ability for you to set the date on which you would like to see the actuals from your external accounting system reflected in your actuals! Many companies do not “close their books” until halfway through the month, meaning the actuals for the previous month were very low until everything was updated. This can be found in the integrations section in settings under the meatballs for the accounting platform.
A new ability to reset user-generated actuals for the previous month as the configured accounting sync date passes. If this option is selected, when the configured date passes, your entered actuals for accounting-related data will be cleared to allow the external actuals to take over.
The columns in the Expenses screen can now be rearranged by you to fit your needs
Formula entry is now available in Expense Actuals! Formulas can now be used to update historical or future values on the details & actuals Page. Offering more places to enter formulas for ease of use.
Many updates to improve performance around the system. This will be a continuous process.

New Partner Page, Inline Editing, and More!
A new Partners and Perks button was added to Finmark as of the Version. This new button in the user profile dropdown gives an easy way for you to access a list of our partners and potential savings.
The Expenses screen has been updated to be viewed as a grid, similar to the Employees screen.
The Employees screen is now editable inline! Employees can now be added, or edited directly from the grid, allowing for quick and easy bulk changes and additions through pasting.
Formula entry is now available in Cash Actuals! Formulas can now be used to update historical or future values.
Default expense amount when pulling in new expenses from an external accounting platform has been simplified to be a simple 6-month average.

Introducing: Custom Dashboard Layout and Resizeable Charts
Customizable dashboard layouts! You can now enter edit mode on the dashboard and rearrange their charts on the dashboard.
Resizable charts! When in edit mode, you can now resize your charts to be as small or as large as you would like. The smallest size option removes all labels from the chart and will display a miniaturized “spark chart”

Parent/Sub-Expense mapping is now available!
You can now set up hierarchical expense structures by identifying a Parent Expense on any expense. This will be reflected in the Expense summary screen as well as in Actuals. Adding EVEN MORE flexibility in how expenses can be split, combined, and structured n Finmark.

A new ability to set Prices based on a custom formula allows for flexibility in how prices may change over time
A new ability to set Employee pay based on a custom formula allows for flexibility in how salaries may change over time. This can be used to build up forecasted pay based on custom hourly pay and hours worked assumptions and much more.
A new “Other” employee role type has been added that behaves similarly to the Contractor role type. These can be Seasonal workers, Temp workers, etc. This change is in preparation for Payroll integrations.
