Introducing: Custom Dashboard Layout and Resizeable Charts

  • Customizable dashboard layouts! You can now enter edit mode on the dashboard and rearrange their charts on the dashboard.

  • Resizable charts! When in edit mode, you can now resize your charts to be as small or as large as you would like. The smallest size option removes all labels from the chart and will display a miniaturized “spark chart”

New System Variables For Cash Available!

  • System Variables have been added for Ending Cash, Cash Collections and Cash Payments. These can be seen in the System variables page under “Operating Cash” and in autocomplete while building out formulas.

Parent/Sub-Expense mapping is now available!

  • You can now set up hierarchical expense structures by identifying a Parent Expense on any expense. This will be reflected in the Expense summary screen as well as in Actuals. Adding EVEN MORE flexibility in how expenses can be split, combined, and structured n Finmark.

  • “Expense Type” has been renamed to “Forecast Method” to more clearly describe what it is that is being set while creating or editing an expense.

Accounting Integration Enhancements

  • Account variables for connected companies now include Assets, Expenses, Equity, Liabilities, and Income

  • The preview modal shown while creating linked expenses has been updated to ensure you better understand what items have been matched to the criteria added and how the expenses will be rearranged.

  • You can now use up to two AND conditions in linked expenses! This change allows for even more granularity/flexibility in forecasting expenses.

  • The ability to edit, delete or duplicate Employees directly from actuals! While in actuals, you will now see a meatball icon next to employees that will allow you to edit the item itself directly from actuals. Revenue to follow soon.

  • Total Payroll details. If Connected, you can now click on the puzzle piece icon next to Total Payroll to see the individual payroll expense transactions that make up the total.

  • Bulk Deletion for Employees! You can now multi-select and hit the delete action button to remove multiple employees at once. This is the first of many bulk action options coming into our product over time.

  • Export buttons have been added to Custom Variables and System Variables to make it easier for people to interact with their data.

  • The expenses screen has been renamed to “Expenses (excl. Payroll)” to set better expectations for what you will see on this screen.

  • Our new Actuals screen has been released! You can now see a combined actuals view, or select different views to see only Revenue, Payroll, or Non-Payroll expenses. This new screen can also be searched and filtered just like System Variables.

  • A new ability to set Prices based on a custom formula allows for flexibility in how prices may change over time

  • A new ability to set Employee pay based on a custom formula allows for flexibility in how salaries may change over time. This can be used to build up forecasted pay based on custom hourly pay and hours worked assumptions and much more.

  • A new “Other” employee role type has been added that behaves similar to the Contractor role type. These can be Seasonal workers, Temp workers, etc. This change is in preparation for Payroll integrations.

  • A new collapse all function has been added for the Custom Variables table

  • Enhancements to the filtering capabilities in the Custom Variables table and the new Cash Actuals table to allow for 2 steps in the filter.

  • All pie graphs have been converted to horizontal line charts for consistency and easier comparison.

  • Scenario comparison for custom charts, allowing scenarios that share common custom charts to be compared against each other.
