Create multiple scenarios for data-driven decision-making.

In Finmark, you can create new scenarios or duplicate scenarios to easily understand the impact your assumptions will have on your business.

Here are some questions to ask yourself while your getting started with your scenarios:

  • What does our base scenario look like?

  • What do we need to do to make our upside scenario happen, and how will it impact our business?

  • If our downside scenario happens, how will our business sustain

Follow the steps below to get started with your scenarios:

How to Create Scenarios:


Step 1: Navigate to your selected scenarios and click manage scenarios.

Step 2: From here, your Manage Scenarios menu will appear. You can either create a new scenario or duplicate a scenario.

Step 3: Adjust the name of the scenario, color, and customize your notes for the scenario.

If you are connected to a third-party platform, you can remove the integration from automatically refreshing. This will help you lock in your budget to compare against your operating plan.

Comparing Scenarios


In Finmark, you can compare scenarios across various parts of your financial model.

Step 1: Navigate to your selected scenarios, and select the scenarios you would like to compare.

Step 2: You can compare your scenarios on the Dashboard, Employees, Expenses, Revenue, and Actuals.
